I'm working on a 1988 F-350 Super Duty Dynamic Snatch Truck
I'm having some electrical problems..... and i wonder if it would be cheaper and easier to replace the wires or the whole cab wires and all..... i found out a F-250 would work also... 
what kind of problems are you having?
Well it's a 1988 F-350 with a 460 gas motor but has a chevy alternator system charging it 120 amps. but the system won't charge for one thing..... second it has wires spliced in from bumper to bumper. everything is run off toggle switches. from headlights to tail lights..... you think thats bad the guy who sold it to me drilled holes in exhaust pipe in front of the converter cause it was stopped up !!!!
