Hi Guys, I'm a noobe here, hows it hanging,
I did what I thought was an exhaustive search and really can not find any information "I'm exhausted anyway" about insurance in Hawaii and whats the best way to go.
I've got an old 79 ford with a Holmes 440 on it, I plan to use the truck to pull junk out of paradise and into the scrap yard, and possibly drag in business for my mechanic skills, or out as the case may be.
A run down of my truck,, I basically bought an old beater from a big shop on a different island that I have painted and tuned, put new tires and new brakes.
Now after a year I'm ready "almost" to start doing some tows, and want to be perfectly legal.
I used to tow when I was a kid for a wrecking yard and I've always thought bringing a truck into my currently successful mechanic business would be a bonus, tows out here can run into big bucks since the closest company is 40 miles away, a quick 5 mile town could be 200 bucks!
So there's my story, morning glory, whatcha think?
None of the companies I know of are licenced in Hawaii.
Maybe someone else knows of someone; or you could call some local towing companies and ask who they use.
