i got an application for the AHL today, has blanks where you fill in rates. Just wondering what rates others give, as i dont want to under shoot to kill myself or overshoot to not get the calls. I need all the contracts i can get, my business has only been formed for a month, so...i gotta keep it going and growing!!! any advice would be appreciated! the regular rates we decided on for a hook is 50$ and 3/mile for regular customers.
thanks in advance!

Send them those rates as around here they dont give us alot of volume, also I would add for inroute miles
Whatever your rates are you get paid 20% less for the member discount. They pay promptly.
thanks southwest towing i just noticed theres printing on the back of the front page with the 20% 'club doscount' and the GOA policy for 50% or greater of the ETA
For me in Colorado, I get very little volume from them. When I looked at their contract, I was not impressed with the GOA schedule. I took my commercial rates and added 25% to it and that is what I offered them. I believe that this club is more eastern seaboard oriented...
They take 20% now,i can remember when it was 10%. We only do them on with company cc.maybe only get 3 calls a year. i beleive their based out of new york from the accent of the dispatchers.
ok, so i got my first call with them, was told to collect 10$ from the customer...??? was a tire change on a new hyundai, they said collect a 10$ from them, and they have a 20$ check when they recieve my bill. was only 5 miles from it, not bad, in a garage.
Here in Georgia, we go $45 hook up fee, $2.50 for enroute miles and $3.50 for loaded miles.
They give us nothing in the midwest states. Just watch out for the 20% they take like ATA!
