Michael was killed on the 91 in riverside,california while changing a tire prayers go out to his family,and the company he worked for!he was only 24 he was out of la habra!
We send our condolences to his family and that is the main reason we don't change tire's on the e-way any longer here we will tow you off and change it in a safe location. 
please save a driver life and make this a priority while on a enterstate
That is basicly how we do things where I work. They don't force us to change tires on the freeway. If it is an outward facing tire (away from traffic) and in a safe spot, it is our choice to change it for not. We tell the customer when the call comes in that we will probably have to tow it off the freeway first. That way there are no surprises to them.
Better to tow it off the e-way then to end up a stain in the lane.
