Hey has anyone seen the new nextel that has a credit card machine that will attach to it and if so how good does it work.
Are you talking about the one where you scan upc codes, and run credit cards through the slider on the side of the phone?beats me :ko: seriously nextel here said it very useful for just about any business that takes credit cards and more convienent saves on the paperwork time, and everything goes to your bank account in the form of direct deposit! :thumb:  :thumb:
Thanks bob i will look into that because i like the size of it we have a cordless one now but it is bulky and have to be charged all the time i would like them to give to drivers to carry . :happydance:  :hardrock:
i checked into the creditel system thats used with nextel phones.i was going to get a couple of them and ordered new phones as well.creditel had to many hidden charges and fees,so i canned the whole idea.also check with your current credit card merchant or your bank, they all offer wireless terminals now.shop around. dave
I'm still gonna go with nextel because of the phone to phone walkies to keep in touch with drivers and office!it would be worth it for me instaed of having a landline! :thumb:  :thumb:
Well we all have i 860 camera phones so if they need to take a picture of some prior damage they can right away .i would have to get get all new phones for the trucks and the units .  now my bank farm that department out to another company and they both charge a fee.you odrer the portable from them and pay a service charge and a monthly fee along with the bank and the want 2 percent a month on what comes in where nexttel said they dont charge all the fee,s just the 15 per month for internet service for your phone and a 10 a month service charge. im more worried about it working when needed to because their phones suck half the time. :thumb:
We used their service out in california when i worked for a company out of nipton and i was impressed on how far we could talk back and forth,i could talk to my boss 175 miles from barstow while i was in vegas dropping off a car! :thumb:  :brows:
Yethey have improved quite a bit since then now you can go coast to coast with them and thye work close to perfect with the 2 way radio but the phone service is not the greatest. :thumb:
I see alot of people here using nextel, the only other carrier that people use is "can you hear me now"service!
I've been told that towpartners.com have a program that helps with deposits on cell service,it cost 100.00 to become signed up with their services its on the website they have. :thumb:
