I was thinking it over just awhile ago and just maybe an incentive to get a good driver who wants to work, and make a decent dollar,a company or companies could offer an incentive to help that driver with half his or hers relocation costs to go where the job is!i know from expierience on how hard to get all the money together to move to a location for a job and its not cheap anymore to be able to relocate!kinda think of as a sign-on bonus like some our large trucking companies do to get good drivers, yes it would be costly but in order to get good help this is the way to go,but there's a catch to it they have to work for your company for atleast 6mths-1yr.!think about it!!!! :thumb:  :drivin:  :thumb:  :unclesam:
Well it is not a bad ideal but what if your prize employee turns out to be a turd in the rough insted of a diamond . now your out the cash you spent on a driver to relocate down here and the drive just goes to the next company and works. i would not risk the money to depend on someone i dont know from adam and once it goes sour for a comapny or two that ideal  gets trash just like the driver lol :thumb: just my view on that topic
This is where a full varification of references comes into view, once that has been done then you assist with relocation funds!and its perfectly legal to do this and i found this out via the american trucking assoc.thats the only way trucking companies give sign on bonus's! :thumb:  :thumb:  :thumb:
May think about not reimbursing them until after their probation time is up.
