Good question, I would be interested in the answer as well!
I joined NTRA because they said they had a towing directory that people could look up a tower in. I was sorely disappointed, the directory only returned those companies in one specific zip code. The had a tower listed in my town that had been out of business for over 3 years.
There are several reasons for joining. On a state level assoc can help you with new legislation. problems with local law or ordanences. But the one thing that all assoc need is for the members to perticapate. We are stronger as an industry in numbers. Never forget that.
Sometimes ya get a nice sticker and a certificate for the wall..
And your name listed in there directory...
And maybe they might have meetings ....Ya get to see what the other guy thinks..
Just check it out... you will know if its worth any $$ real fast...
