Hey guys what is the best way to find debtors who's info is no longer valid on my repo contracts.
Come on you guys someone has to know somthing on skip tracing
run their social #, will come up with new employer and address
Is ther a service to do that free or at least a monthly thing becouse all i have found on the net is 39.99 for one ssn and im not a gambling man ...thank you
I'm no skip tracer, but there are lots of online services that claim to find anyone. According to some TV investigative reports who were reporting on the privacy issues, they actually work. 
i dont know if this will help you,but when i have a car that is abandoned,i use zabasearch.com.i also have the pd run the tag and get info that way
There are 1001+ ways to locate a debtor that has skipped. I would advise against using any such program such as NetDetetctive as the info provide is outdated and you are just tossing money aside. I would suggest using any one of a number of reputable Skip Tracers that are available.
There are also many searches that you can do for free and one site I might suggest is BRB. You will have to get used to using it to find what you are looking for.

I will list a few steps we use for finding skips.
1. 411 and the phone book. This is the most overlooked place to start and should be your frist stop. It's free.
2. Check the contact list. Knock on the house next door and talk to them about the person your looking for. Most know how to read people. Ask open ended questions let them talk and listen. I carry a recorded in my pocket and record while they talk. You may miss something that you here them say later. This is also free.
3. Run SSN# or DL. There are no free sites for this that will give you any real results. I have used many. I like IRBSearch.com. They have one that cost 7.95 will give you relatives, names, ssn#, Liens, etc..... 7.95 is nothing to pay. I burn that in fuel in less than a hour of running around.
4. Video Stores. Yes video store clerk will give you info for next to nothing. Someone may not use there ssn or put a lease in there name but they will give all that info to block buster and not think twice.
5. Make contacts with the power company and someone in the call center for the cell companies in your area. Don't use these to much. you use them as a last resort. They could get in trouble and lose there job if someone sees them giving out the info.
So you have the first five steps and should close 80% of your skips using them. Good Luck.
