I have the perfect solution for good, quick service. Call a local towing owner / operator and tell him you have cash and need to be towed. He will be there in under 20 minutes and take the time to do the job right.
Now if you put me in a AAA contractors' place and told me you were willing to give me a PO for $19 and you needed towed *I* wouldn't get out of my chair, much less start the truck!
You're going to penalize me for taking more than 30 minutes to get to a $19 tow??!! ROLMAO!
You're all over it Jason. If folks would just take the money they waste on motor clubs and use it to call the tower direct we wouldnt have to hear all these horror stories. AAA likes to keep the myth of "who would I call" going. Call 411 and ask for towers in the area. Call 911 and ask for the next tower off rotation. Hopefully the motor clubs and the days of roadside welfare will come to an end.
