I'm surprised these dispatchers put the right end of the phone to their ear. They never want to get enough information and the, "I have a call for you", greeting that they use is enough to make me want to turn down the call. Which is always funny. Especially if it's a, RED ALERT RED ALERT, AAA priority call. They seem to expect us to drop everything and  go get their idiot member right then. Of course thats partly how they get companies to put AAA calls up front and lose rotation and retails calls. Which makes AAA a bigger part of that companies business and makes them indispensible. AAA is like this evil being that outwardly appears to be good, but all the while is seeking to own your soul. AAA is the Devil.
I don't know who you've been working for, but I have never heard of any company turning down a rotation call for a AAA. That would be a waste of time an money. :wacko:
Let's face it, some companies get dependant on the steady high volume stream of MC calls, particularly AAA.

I ended up the same way after I started up, I got so much work from one MC that I didn't think much about other sources of work. Yea, I made money off the "volume" but if I wanted to work 16 hours a day, I'd go get a job!

Too many have forgotten that MC work is cheaper because it's suppose to be filler work. When things get busy, you turn down the MC work and they call someone more expensive or pay retail. Instead companies have bought trucks and hired drivers to handle the MC volume all the time.

Fortunately in my part of the world there is a difference between a dispatcher and a call taker.   :thud:  The person who records your call information is not the dispatcher.   The dispatcher sends the tow truck out to the member
