That ad is misleading! It says "Super Truck" but it shows a Chevy??? Yea, I know, but what is super is if you won it that's all. I would have had to sell it and get a Ford with a stick, auto trans don't do good here in the mountains. I was sent to a call to the top of a mountain (5 miles straight up) at OberGatlinburg Ski Resort, I told the new dispatcher that I couldn't do it since I was in a Rollback with auto trans and the owner doesn't allow us on any mountain calls. He said I had to do it. Now this rollback has a history of bad brakes, it was a amublance at one time and someone took off the abs brake system and couldn't figure out what to hook up system. So I loaded up this Nissan car and two passengers and proceeded down the hill in low gear, well the front seal started leaking and I lost enough fuild that the trans kept shifting itselfs into second even though the shift selector was in 1st, I had to use the brakes to slow down, one curve is a near 90% turn and downward, be the time I got to the bottom of the mountain my brakes had smoke pouring off of them and the pedal was to the floor, luckly the traffic light just turned green and their was no cars in front of me cause I couldn't stop if I wanted too, and the parking brake didn't work, I eased the truck back to the garage another 12 miles away, never saying to the owner of the car anything and kept my distance from any cars in front of me, the brakes cooled down enough to stop while used shifter to down shift manually. Got to garage unloaded car put in 6 quarts of fuild and had the mechanic on duty adjust the brakes as best he could. I did not win the truck either. I would do the same thing if I won. I would get a Ford! Great show like always. When I was looking at some of the trucks in the show and was trying to think if some of the trucks ever tow anything.
