Is there software out there that incorporates scanned images and or the ability to access a bar code reader? Is it worth it?
Also any suggestions for software to keep the employees from visiting unauthorized web sights?
Can I repost this in one of the larger forums since this forum dosnt get much love?

I don't understand your first question about scanned images.
Bar code readers can be plugged into a USB port as long as your software recognizes them.
You can prevent your employees from visiting unauthorized sites a couple ways that don't require any extra software.
The first method is in your "Internet options" under the "privacy" tab. Select "sites", and enter the address of sites that you want to block.
The second method is for more computer savvy employees that might know how to get past method one. This method involves adding the Website address to a HOSTS file that resides on your computer. For this method, I'll send you to a online tutorial. Right Here.
