O.K. I just got a truck with a Jerr dan aluminum bed. The problem I have is that the previous owner has the banjo eye's pulled thru. I was going to buy the steel plates that bolt from the bottom from Zips equip. But there is a 2nd aluminum plate on the bottom of the bed and no room to put the repair plate in. My work truck (At least for the next week and a half) has a century alumminum bed with these plates and they work great. Here are some pics. Any Ideas?? I need help quick. I want to be ready to go when my notice at work ends. I know I cant be the only one with a Jerr dan bed with this problem.

Here is my Jerr dan bed from the top.

Hey Cruz,

Keep in mind I have no Jerr-Dans. Why not mount the steel plate on top?
