On Friday morning we will be performing a server upgrade that will effect the board. We will be upgrading our Primary VLAN Aggregation switch from MSFC1 to MSFC2 to accommodate more VLAN traffic.
This means that ITOW Talk, which is currently located in BR01-06 and AN racks will experience a loss of connectivity for approximately 15 minutes while the current aggregation switches are migrated to our new VLAN aggregation switch.
Migrations to this new switch will occur on a per-switch/per-rack basis, and the maximum duration of maintenance, and downtime should be less than 30 minutes.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our members, but this upgrade will improve our infrastructure to provide more resilient and reliable service.
