Heard over the scanner that there was a m/h stuck on county roadway, got the call to go get it, showed up checked it out gave a quote & the owner said no thanks I have freinds with an excavator, I said ok call me if you need me but its going to get worse the longer it sits here(more$$$$. He called panicking a few hrs later saying that it had settled lots more & to please come recover it. M/h had drivers side wheels on fresh filled utility ditch & with all the rain we have had recently the thing was sinking fast, he had been trying to self recover with the onboard leveling legs & a bottle jack but was only jiggling himself deeper. First thing was to run the cruise loop from the trailor hitch in a christmas wrap over the rear corner to a snatchblock strapped to a tree across the street to stabilize it from tipping further, next I let all but 10 psi of air out of all the passenger side tires(didnt even lower the tire an inch, goes to show how much weight was on the high side) Pulled the grill to gain access to the drivers side frame rail as the front lower valance was lower than any good pull point, position truck across the road & pull hard with the wire rope hooked to the frame & follow up with the second wire rope going to the tree & back to the cruse loop for stabilization, had a crowd of happy neighbors giving a big round of applause afterwards, 30 minutes from start to finish & a customer that couldnt stop hugging me..................... I love these kind of jobs that nobody else wants. Who says you cant perform recoveries with an autoloader? See what happens when you pull over to ask for directions!!Nice job on the Hotel room...Keep it up!

Very nice job!! That christmas wrap is a marvelous technique. Well thought out recovery.
It looks like you could almost push it over. I do love seeing all your recoveries.
KenThanks for the kind words , being on an island you rig a little more than you would if you had a heavy nearby.
