34 tow truck drivers arrested in new york,also siezed 14 truck,and money assets,due to some contract with the city's program,and come to think about that kind of news in the eye of the public,its a digrace to our industry it makes you think all tow drivers are crooked,but its stories like this that don't help us out a whole lot.. 
That's for sure! They seem to have a lot more problems on the east coast.
No sh##,i haven't heard anything like that out this way,just like the program in houston texas,they are still going like energizer bunnies. 
Yes New York started a new have to have a special permit to enter the city and if you cross into the city without that permit they inpound the truck and arrest the driver all politics. 
With the type of money they make i'd make 
sure i was legal in every way,but they were taking new york for a ride by overcharging the contracts..
