I read the story in itow.org about the pulley coming off the truck and killing a woman, what ever happened to pre-trip inspections, this one thing i've always done on my truck to make sure things like this tragedy never happen, thats the first thing i do before rolling to a call.this is where i get ticked when other drivers don't take the time to check out your truck.i don't know maybe i'm picky about my truck and its equipment.safety first out there!!!!! :thumb:
We have a couple of new drivers and we need to get a check list so they check out the truck and dont just jump in and get to a call and not have the equitment there or its broken.does anyone have a check list i can use please? you can click the email me or post it here .thank you
We only do a glance over the trucks to make sure the equipment is still on the trucks like the go-jacks and the l bars ,jump packs and to make sur ethe hoods are fastened down .maybe we should do a better inspection now that i hear this.

I would suggest your local truck stop they have pre-trip logs there! or you can go to www.jjkeller.com and they can help you out with this they are the ones who print pre-trip logs, hope this will help out! :thumb:  :thumb:
I will look into those log books. i would hate to be the cause of a tragic accident

You can usually get em for about 1.00-1.75 a book or a pack of them for about 4-5.00 for 10 books(pre-trip inspections) and now on your second hook now your one of us but sorry no secret decoder rings. :sofunny:  :sofunny:  :sofunny:
You can find the WreckMaster "Circle Check" on their website. It includes towing equipment, which you would not find in a regular logbook.
It starts here and continues to page 81, so click the 'NEXT' button to read it all.

I like the one by wreckmasters much more detailled for a pre-trip inspection for a tow truck,i'm goona get hold of them and order the checklist, thanks unitow..... :brows:  :brows:
Yah, let see you do that check list before you race to the PD call. Or at Dark O thirty Something...
