A company out of california was dropped because they had one driver who had a suspended license, now the company is sueing because now they are loosing 4500.00 a month in revenue from being dropped from city rotation.my oppinion is that just because of one license problem with a single driver is total stupidity on behalf of the city of salinas,ca.   makes you wonder!
Bob Salinas is not far from me and i can understand if Quality knew his license was suspended and allowed him to drive. then yes they should lose the rotation for min of 30 days.. a unlicensed driver releases your insurance company of ANY and ALL liability's.. it would be stupid on there behalf to allow it.. ALL CHP (ca highway patrol) rotation company's have to register with the pull program and every driver has to fill out the paper work or not run CHP calls or tow on freeways.. the pull program notifies company's if there employees receive any tickets or actions ageist there license usually within 3 days.. i know Quality is on the CHP rotation.. its hard to say they didn't know..
Well i didn't know that because i only got part of the story from google news,i didn't know about the pull program all i did was drive out there in california the bosses handled that part!but it does make me wonder if the company knew he had a bad license!
